Sulphate < 1.0%
Chloride < 0.5%

Application (Polymerization)
TEXAPON P is an emulsifier for the manufacture of emulsion polymers, especially for
-acrylate homo and copolymers,
-styrene-acrylate copolymers,
-vinyl acetate homo and copolymers,
-vinyl acetate/versatic acid vinyl ester (Veova)  copolymers.

Dosage (Polymerization)
TEXAPON P may be mixed with anionic and non-ionic emulsifiers in any ratio. Even in very hard  water it does not cause formation of lime soap.
The incorporation amount depends on the type and  quantity of the initial monomers as well as on the  polymerization process and the desired properties of the polymer dispersion.
In general, 0.5 to 2.5% of TEXAPON P (100% active substance) is used, calculated on monomers weight.

TEXAPON P is suitable as a single emulsifier but a combination with non-ionic coemulsifiers of the  Disponil NP, Disponil AAP, Disponil LS or Disponil  TA type is possible.

Application (paints)
TEXAPON P is a highly active wetting and dispersing agent for emulsion paints based on PVAc,  polyacrylates and their copolymers.
Texapon P facilitates the incorporation of difficult-to-wet pigments such as Hansa yellow, toluidene red and phthalocyanine  pigments.
Texapon P improves substrate adhesion and enhances the penetration of wood coatings.

TEXAPON P may also be used in the manufacture of tinting pastes to ensure their easy and uniform dispersion into emulsion paints.

Dosage (paints)
In paints: approx. 0.3%,calculated on total batch
In tinting pastes: 5 – 10%, calculated on total paste

Regulatory Status DSL, TSCA, EINECS, AICS, ENCS/MITI
Miscellaneous TEXAPON P has good biodegradability.
The product meets the legal requirements of the German Detergents Law as well as all legal requirements of  the EEC Directives.
Texapon P is recommended to store TEXAPON P at room  temperature and to protect it against influences of  heat and frost.
If stored in the original sealed containers the product is durable for at least 1 year
